Under the direction of entrepreneur Angèle Ciza, the Terimbere Co-op grows this bourbon variety on Kirundo’s surrounding hills. Angèle’s initiatives, like the Shamba Mushroom Project, continue to help her community thrive.

Jesus used savings from her clothing inspection job to buy a plot of land, high up in the mountains of El Cielito. This small farm is named for the tiny white butterflies that float around the coffee trees.
